Soundless (2004) follows Viktor, a meticulous assassin likely nearing the end of his career, who finds himself at a crossroads. After sparing Nina, a woman found near his latest target, he intervenes to save her from a suicide attempt. Intrigued by Viktor, Nina becomes determined to uncover his true identity, a quest that parallels the efforts of Lang, a perceptive police detective who delves into the minds of both victims and the killer. Meanwhile, Viktor's employer seeks to eliminate him, complicating matters further with the involvement of an elderly arms dealer and family acquaintance.
