Future War (1997) follows a sinister plot where malevolent cyborgs abduct humans from Earth's distant future to exploit them as laborers and employ dinosaurs from the prehistoric era as hunters. One of their captives, known as the Runaway, manages to break free and finds himself in contemporary Los Angeles. Here, he must navigate a perilous landscape, evading both the cyborgs and their dinosaur trackers, as well as the local police and government authorities. Along the way, he forms an unlikely alliance with a former prostitute who has turned to a life of service, operating a halfway house.
