Proud Men (TV) (1987) follows the emotional journey of a man who, as a young adult, defied his conservative rancher father by refusing to enlist in the Vietnam War. This decision led to his father's disownment. Years later, after a span of fifteen years, his mother intervenes, urging him to return home and make one last attempt to reconcile with his father, who remains steadfast and unyielding in his beliefs.
