Times Square (1980) follows the journey of two young women who escape from a psychiatric facility and form a bond while navigating the bustling streets of New York City. Initially, they embrace the vibrant punk-rock culture, finding solace and excitement in their newfound freedom. However, their new life is threatened when authorities begin searching for them, causing their fragile mental states to deteriorate. The narrative explores whether the duo, known as the Sleez Girls, will be separated by external forces or if their own internal struggles will ultimately tear them apart.
