Running Time (1997) is a cinematic experience captured in black and white, unfolding in real time, and presented as a single, uninterrupted shot. This film bears a resemblance to Hitchcock's "Rope," but with the added element of being shot on location. The story revolves around Carl, a former inmate who has meticulously planned a daring heist on the prison laundry system where he once worked for five years. Upon his release, Carl reunites with an old high school friend who has organized the operation and arranged for a prostitute to celebrate Carl's first intimate encounter in a decade. After assembling a safecracker and a getaway driver, the group has a mere twenty minutes to execute the flawless heist. However, their meticulous plans quickly unravel, leaving Carl to grapple with the consequences. Despite the chaos, there's still a chance for Carl to find solace in the company of the woman he met.
