Liverpool Català: boira, sants & rock'n'roll

At the end of the eighties, the region of Osona, a remote rural area of Barcelona, experienced a surprising musical wave that someone baptized as the "Catalan Liverpool", from there bands such as Duble Buble, El Último De la Fila, Loquillo y Los Trogloditas or Sau, who triumphed throughout the country. After 40 years, that spirit is ringing strongly again, with names like Núria Graham, Oques Grasses, Joana Serrat, Els Catarres, Nyandú or La Iaia. The documentary "Catalan Liverpool: fog, saints and rock'n'roll", directed by Dani Feixas, explores the causes of this cultural and musical phenomenon by developing a feature film about this concept. The film will create a discourse that unites the different generations of musicians from the last 40 years.
