Cat Funeral (2015) follows the story of Dong-Hoon and Jae-Hee (Park Se-Young), former romantic partners who shared a life with their beloved feline companion, Gooreumi. After their separation, Dong-Hoon took on the responsibility of caring for the cat. When Gooreumi passes away, Dong-Hoon reaches out to Jae-Hee to inform her of the sad news. This leads to their first encounter in a year. To honor their departed pet, Dong-Hoon and Jae-Hee embark on a one-night, two-day journey to hold a funeral for Gooreumi, navigating their complex emotions and shared history along the way.
