The movie tells the unforeseen event that happens to an infantry soldier named Desmond who deserts his group of pilgrims who collect scalps. He then embarks on an odyssey to freedom that will take him through the endless landscapes of a fictional area. Throughout his journey, his aim is to reclaim his humanity.
