The Devil Hunter (1980) unfolds in the dense jungles where indigenous tribes live in constant dread of a malevolent force. Laura Crawford, a fashion model, is abducted by a ruthless gang while on assignment in South America. The criminals drag her deep into the jungle, demanding an exorbitant ransom. Laura is kept under the watchful eye of a bizarre native who identifies himself as "The Devil," subjecting her to a series of horrifying ordeals until the ransom is secured. The narrative includes disturbing rituals where captive women are offered in sacrifice, and the devil engages in a grotesquely literal act of cannibalism. Enter Peter Weston, a daring adventurer, who ventures into the jungle in the spirit of Indiana Jones to save Laura, ultimately succeeding in his perilous mission.
