Ratboy (1986) follows the story of Nikki, a window dresser who has seen better days, who stumbles upon rumors of a peculiar creature known as Eugene while scavenging through a dumpster. Intrigued, Nikki locates and forms a bond with Eugene, who is a human-rat hybrid. Nikki sees an opportunity to capitalize on Eugene's uniqueness and tries to introduce him to the public. However, Eugene prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Throughout the film, the origins of Eugene's hybrid nature remain unexplained, adding an air of mystery to the narrative.
