Alki Alki (2015) follows the life of Tobias, a man juggling the responsibilities of a wife, three children, and his own architecture firm. However, his priorities seem skewed, as he finds himself more drawn to the company of Flasche, a homeless alcoholic, with whom he shares daily drinking sessions. This irresponsible lifestyle inevitably leads to severe repercussions. Tobias' core issue, though, is his deep-seated love for his addiction. Even as he acknowledges the importance of meaningful human connections, he remains captivated by his desire to drink.
