The Crush (1993) follows the story of a journalist, Nick Elliot, portrayed by Cary Elwes, who decides to rent the guest house of an affluent couple. The family's 14-year-old daughter, Darien, played by Alicia Silverstone, begins to show romantic interest in Nick. When her advances are not returned, Darien's infatuation escalates into a dangerous obsession, ultimately leading her to resort to extreme measures, including violence and murder.
