The Front (1976) is set during the era of political persecution, focusing on Alfred Miller, a TV scriptwriter who faces ostracism due to his left-wing beliefs. To sustain his career, Miller hires Howard Prince, an old acquaintance, to lend his name to Miller's scripts. However, Miller is not the only writer in need of such a service, as others also seek Howard's assistance to navigate the challenging times.
