Toxin (2014) follows the story of Lieutenant John Paxton, a man driven by a deep-seated desire for vengeance against the government he once served. After a covert biological warfare experiment spiraled out of control, Paxton and his team were left to face the consequences alone, betrayed and abandoned by the very institution they had sworn to protect. As Paxton embarks on his quest for retribution, the world around him begins to crumble. The repercussions of his actions lead to widespread infection, resulting in a catastrophic loss of life. Those who manage to survive are left to grapple with the harsh reality of a world on the brink of collapse, desperately searching for the last remaining safe haven for humanity.
