Synopsis of Brudstykker af en landsbydegns dagbog (TV)
In his diary, Morten Vinge describes his life as a servant on a major farm estate near Viborg in the early 18th century. At the tragic core is his unhappy infatuation with the young noblewoman Sophie. She never cares about Morten Vinge. After an unhappy marriage to the nobleman Gyldenløve, she runs away with the hunter Jens. Morten never gets to declare his love. As his and Sophie's paths cross in old age, she does not notice him. TV adaptation of Blicher's 1824 short story.
