F.A.L.T.U. (2011) follows the journey of three friends, Ritesh Virani (Jacky Bhagnani), Nanj (Angad Bedi), and Pooja (Puja Gupta), who face a setback when they fail their exams and struggle to secure admission elsewhere. With the help of their friend Vishnu (Chandan Roy Sanyal), they devise a plan to create a fake college. They enlist the assistance of Google Chand (Arshad Warsi), a brilliant relative of Ritesh, to bring their idea to life. The college is named "Fakirchand And Lakirchand Trust University (F.A.L.T.U.)." They hire Bajirao (Ritesh Deshmukh), a nursery teacher, as the principal. Despite initial hiccups, including the unexpected arrival of students, they decide to continue the charade. Their efforts to legitimize F.A.L.T.U. are met with rejection, leading them to participate in a talent competition for universities. During the competition, they face humiliation from Vishnu's father (Akbar Khan). However, a judge, Mr. Subodh (Mithun Chakraborty), recognizes the genuine potential in their endeavor and offers to help turn F.A.L.T.U. into a real institution. In the end, Bajirao returns to teaching nursery children, Nanj achieves his dream of becoming a fitness trainer, Pooja becomes a DJ, Vishnu pursues acting, and Google Chand continues his laid-back lifestyle. Ritesh, meanwhile, takes the reins of F.A.L.T.U., which now boasts over 500 students.
