Toshi Densetsu no Onna (TV Series) (2012) follows the story of Detective Tsukiko Otonashi, portrayed by Masami Nagasawa, who is part of the First Investigation Division team under the leadership of Ichio Tannai, played by Naoto Takenaka. Tsukiko is deeply engrossed in the world of the "Toshi Densetsu" manga, to the point where she attributes her career choice to her fascination with it. Whenever a new case arises, Tsukiko finds herself pondering if there might be any connections to the stories from "Toshi Densetsu." Concurrently, forensic investigator Hiroto Katsuura, played by Junpei Mizobata, develops a strong affection for Tsukiko from the moment they meet.
