Big Land, Flying Eagles (1978) follows the perilous journey of Xiao Fung, a renowned swordsman who finds himself in grave danger after slaying the son of a powerful local warlord, Lee San. The 3,000,000 taels entrusted to the warlord's son have vanished, and Xiao Fung is now the prime suspect. Marked for death, Xiao Fung seeks refuge with "Killer Eagle," a fellow swordsman of great renown, and a group of nomadic Mongolian traders. However, Lee San dispatches a diverse array of assassins, including Buddhist monks, to eliminate Xiao Fung. Amidst this chaos, Xiao Fung becomes entangled in a complex web of intrigue involving a mysterious woman, who herself is embroiled in conflicts with various factions.
