Eve's Leaves (1926) follows the journey of Eve Corbin, a young woman brought up by her Sea-Captain father in isolation from feminine influences. She has divided her time between working on his ship and enjoying shore leave while disguised as a boy. Her life takes an intriguing turn when she encounters the charming Bob Britton in the bustling Chinese port of Sub Gum, sparking thoughts of romance. The situation intensifies when the notorious pirate Chang Fang launches an attack on the port, providing Eve with an opportunity to use the ensuing chaos to draw nearer to Bob.
