Snap Decision (TV) (2001) follows the story of Jennifer Bradley, a single mother who allows her young children to play freely at home, often in diapers, underwear, or even without clothes. Her best friend since college, Carrie Dixon, joins in the fun and captures 36 photographs of their playful moments. However, the photo lab, adhering to legal requirements and the prevailing moral standards of the time, reports the images as potential child pornography to the police. Chicago PD detective John Collins is assigned to the case. The children are temporarily placed with their grandparents by court order, following a recommendation from Social Services. Attorney Steve Godwin steps in to defend his friend Jen. Initially, the case appears to be winding down, but Jen is suddenly arrested and faces multiple charges of child abuse.
