In October 2015, a passionate group of film fans initiated a project to excavate and restore the site. Beneath just a few inches of earth, they uncovered the original paved circle. Over the following months, volunteers from across Europe journeyed to Sad Hill to unearth and rebuild the iconic location. The documentary chronicles the inspiring story behind this significant film site, exploring the aspirations and motivations of the fans involved, as well as the profound impact of art, music, and film as modern forms of cultural and spiritual expression.
