Two couples, currently divorced, return to the country house in which they lived in as a commune more than twenty years before, invited by their friend Max, the only one who stayed there. Their three sons, now in their thirties, also return to this place filled with bittersweet memories. None of their lives has turned out as they expected, and many of their frustrations and disappointments will come to light during this weekend, particularly for the younger generation.
