Alemão (2014) unfolds in 2007 as the Rio de Janeiro government initiates a significant operation involving police and military forces to infiltrate Complexo do Alemão, one of South America's most extensive and perilous slums. This operation is part of the State's UPP Program, aimed at reclaiming slums dominated by drug traffickers. Pixixo, a delivery boy, is tasked with delivering crucial documents revealing the identities of undercover agents operating in Alemão to Chief of Police Valadares. However, his journey is interrupted at a drug dealer checkpoint, leading to a chaotic pursuit. The criminals, under the leadership of drug lord Playboy, disrupt cellular and internet services to track down the undercover agents Samuel, Danilo, Carlinhos, and Branco, who are hiding in a pizzeria owned by another undercover agent, Doca. With communication cut off, the five men face mounting tension and suspicion as they remain trapped inside the pizzeria.
