The Great Vazquez (2010) is set in Barcelona during the vibrant 1960s. It's spring, and Vázquez is living life to the fullest. His iconic characters, such as the Gilda Sisters, Anacleto, and the Cebolleta Family, are immensely popular in the comics published by Bruguera. As Spain's leading cartoonist, Vázquez enjoys a carefree lifestyle, avoiding debts, outsmarting his superiors, and marrying multiple times. However, his world is disrupted when a meticulous accountant at his publishing house insists on bringing Vázquez's extravagant behavior under control. This proves to be a challenging endeavor, as Vázquez views life as a grand party that he can join even if he wasn't invited.
