Orosia (1944) unfolds in the year 1900, centering around the impending union of Orosia Garcés de Abarca and Eloy Sancho de Embún. Their joy is abruptly cut short when Eloy is fatally stabbed due to the rivalries among night serenaders beneath the bride's balcony.
