Tone-Deaf (2019) follows Olive (Crew), who, after being fired from her job and ending a troubled relationship, seeks solace in a rural retreat. However, her peaceful getaway turns into a nightmare when she encounters the sinister side of rural life. She rents a peculiar, lavish country home from Harvey (Patrick), a traditional widower concealing his menacing nature. As the weekend unfolds, the clash between two generations leads to horrifying consequences, making this a chilling home invasion horror film. It also serves as a darkly humorous commentary on the peculiar cultural and political landscape of today.
