An old professor and his former student start out climbing together. For one of them this is an annual ritual, a hommage to his friend and farewell to the mountains; for the other - a set up opportunity to get a job. The film was shot in the snowy Tatra Mountains which are the film's main subject - the persistent images make words irrelevant.
