Kung Fu Zombie (1982) follows a criminal who arrives in a town with the intent to eliminate Billy due to a previous conflict. Instead of handling the task personally, he enlists the help of a Taoist sorcerer to animate zombies to carry out the murder. However, the scheme backfires, leading to the criminal's demise. The vengeful spirit of the villain then compels the sorcerer to reincarnate him, but they struggle to find an appropriate body. Concurrently, an undead entity arrives to target Billy's father over a separate past dispute. Billy's extensive kung fu training proves invaluable as he successfully defeats the attacker. With a suitable body now available, the reincarnation process is attempted again, but it goes awry, resulting in the corpse being reborn as a vampire.
