In 1917, a battleship lies at the harbour of Kronstadt, the sailors under their captain have turned anarchist. A young blonde woman comes aboard, she's the newly appointed Bolshevik Commissar. After's she's shown the sailors how tough she can be, she wins their respect. The crew and its Commissar get involved in the Civil War battles, they have to leave the ship and fight as infantry troops against the White Cavalry. Marches across the desert, in the end they again reach the shores, but are defeated. Heroic death of the Commissar.
