Yo (2015) follows the story of a 30-year-old man named Yo, who, despite his physical strength, retains a childlike innocence. He resides with his mother, sharing a deep bond with her. Together, they run a highway-side restaurant specializing in roasted chicken. Yo's unique method of humanely dispatching the chickens using a vacuum cleaner endears him to the restaurant's patrons, who appreciate his humor. However, the arrival of Pady, his mother's new partner, strains their relationship, leaving Yo feeling jealous and isolated. His life takes a positive turn when he forms a friendship with Elaine, an 11-year-old girl who brings joy and light back into his world.
