Gerhard Richter - Painting

Considered one of today’s most important painters and that he “saved the 21st Century’s painting” according to Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper. Gerhard Richter was born in 1932 in Dresden, he studied at the Dresden Art School and at the State Art Academy of Dusseldorf. He has received a number of awards and his exhibits have been shown throughout the world. Film director Corinna Belz accompanies him in his study and follows his creative process up to the inauguration of some of his paintings in New York. Thanks to her sensitive curiosity, she achieves a unique documentary, different from the traditional portrait of artists.
