Final (2001) follows the story of Bill, who awakens from a coma in a psychiatric facility, plagued by vivid hallucinations that he is on the brink of execution by an advanced society that has revived him from a cryogenic experiment. Under the guidance of his psychiatrist, Ann, Bill begins to recall fragments of his life before the coma, including the loss of his father, a painful breakup with his fiancée, and a reckless drunken driving incident. As he progresses in his recovery, his delusions persist, leading him to question the reality presented by his caregivers. The narrative unfolds as Bill uncovers that his delusions might be more grounded in truth than the version of events he has been given.
