Zero Dark Thirty
2012 · Movie · 157 min. · United States
ZERO DARK THIRTY (stands for 00:30, local time when the SEAL operation started) reunites the Oscar winning team of director-producer Kathryn Bigelow and writer-producer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) for the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man. The film tells the riveting account of all the previous work by intelligence forces lead by Agent Maya (Chastain) who made possible that Navy SEAL Team 6 hunted Osama bin Laden. The Al Qaeda leader was killed during a raid on his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan on May 2, 2011, nearly a decade after ordering the 9/11 attacks in New York and Washington.
