Say One for Me (1959) centers around Father Conroy, portrayed by Bing Crosby, who oversees a parish dedicated to the acting and performance community. When one of his parishioners falls ill and can no longer work, their daughter, Holly Reynolds, takes on a job at a dance club with a dubious reputation. The club is managed by Tony Vincent, played by Ray Walston, who has aspirations for stardom but has yet to achieve it.
