Confessions

Impassive before a class where lack of interest and disorder reign, a teacher begins a long monologue that culminates in an overwhelming revelation: the accident that took her daughter´s life wasn´t an accident, but a murder perpetrated by two of her students. This is the disconcerting beginning of Tetsuya Nakashima's new film, a pure gem where confessions revolving around a crime whose culprits we already know come one after another and even so, it hypnotizes the spectator while lubricating its vindictive machinery behind the scenes. A fragmented, icy thriller and a terrifying sociological study.
