Solarman (TV) (1986) is an unsold animated TV pilot that centers around a young, ambitious comic book artist. The story takes an extraordinary turn when a dying extraterrestrial scientist bestows upon him a mysterious alien bracelet. This bracelet transforms the teenager into a solar-powered superhero, imbuing him with the ability to harness the power of the sun. His newfound powers are put to the test as he must confront and thwart the nefarious plans of a malevolent galactic overlord intent on destroying the Earth.
