Viva Knievel! (1977) follows the thrilling journey of motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel, who is enticed by a substantial offer to showcase his skills in Mexico. Unbeknownst to him, the organizers have a sinister plan: they intend to eliminate him and use his body as a means to smuggle cocaine into the United States. Knievel's trusted chief mechanic, who struggles with alcoholism, becomes suspicious and uncovers a crucial piece of information. However, before he can share his findings with Knievel, he is sent to a rehabilitation clinic for drug addicts, a move that Knievel dismisses as unnecessary. Knievel visits his mechanic, who reveals what he has discovered, but the full extent of the danger remains shrouded in mystery.
