Released from any contract that would bind them to a record company, Babasónicos decided to set up their own studio in a country house in Tortuguitas to record Jessico, their sixth album. The release coincided with the late 2001 crisis, when even record stores had closed due to the economic devastation. Despite the general discomfort, and perhaps also because of it, Jessico became a old Record in only a week and it also became a generational voice for many). Ten years from its release, Alejandro Arias decides to get the Babasónicos together as they recover old tapes with outtakes from that record.
