One day, he manages to get into deep trouble and is sent to Earth to learn to be a Guardian Angel. When he arrives in Mexico City, he is really frightened and, not knowing what else to do, he finds shelter-and unexpected help-in an old abandoned house. A boy named Pepe lives in this city with his mother Carmen, his grandfather Joaquin, and his stepfather Raul. Carmen is a hard-working young woman who loves her son dearly and does her best to give him a decent life. Raul, on the other hand dislikes and mistreats him. Grandfather Joaquin is an inventor who creates all sorts of gadgets in his laboratory in his attempt to improve his family's financial condition.
