The City (TV) (1977) follows the intense journey of detectives Matt and Scott as they pursue a deranged individual harboring a deep-seated grudge against a renowned country singer. The antagonist, Banks, holds a peculiar vendetta against Wes Collins, the country singer, stemming from an incident where Wes punched him in the face when he was just a baby. Driven by a twisted desire for revenge, Banks is determined to eliminate Wes.
