Falcon Down (2000) follows Hank Thomas, who, after being discharged from the air force following a tragic incident involving his best friend and Major Carson, is recruited by a team of individuals claiming to be CIA agents. Led by Harold Peters and Sharon Williams, along with Carson, they reveal that a microwave beam weapon was responsible for his friend's death and the downing of TWA flight 800. This weapon is now integrated into a supersonic fighter jet known as the Falcon. The military has canceled the Falcon project, but a company plans to steal it from Area 51 and sell it to China for $10 billion. Hank is tasked with stealing the plane and flying it to Alaska for dismantling. Infiltrating Area 51, Hank and the team engage in a fierce gun battle to reach the Falcon's hangar. As they make their escape, the Air Force pursues them, and Hank uncovers the truth: his supposed CIA allies are mercenaries conspiring with Carson to sell the Falcon to China. With the Falcon leaking fuel, Hank must evade both the Air Force and the mercenaries while attempting to land the plane on an ice cap.
