Tuyul: Part 1 (2015) presents a fresh take on the Indonesian urban legend of the mythical spirit known as Tuyul. The narrative follows Daniel (Gandhi Fernando) and his wife Mia (Dinda Kanya Dewi), who relocate to an aged residence inherited from Mia's late mother. Daniel, eager to save money before the arrival of their first child, takes on a job at a tea plantation and insists on moving into the old house. While tidying up one of the rooms, Daniel uncovers a peculiar bottle concealed beneath the damaged wooden floor. This seemingly innocuous bottle may harbor a terrifying entity that threatens the safety of Daniel, Mia, and their unborn child.
