Synopsis of Fortune Cookie
This is one of Darren Aronofsky's student shorts he made while attending graduate school. Like Requiem for a Dream, it's based on a Hubert Selby Jr. story. Unlike Requiem, it REALLY feels like a student short, and might be hard to get through for all but the more devoted fans.
