#Selfi (2018) follows the story of a renowned and cynical writer, Bogdanov, whose life takes an unexpected turn when an exact replica of himself emerges. This doppelgänger, indistinguishable in mannerisms, jokes, and physical appearance, seamlessly takes over Bogdanov's television show, fan interactions, romantic relationships, and social life. Bogdanov, watching his life unfold on screen as if in a mirror, finds his identity and career swiftly erased. As he observes the double's genuine and sincere demeanor, he acknowledges the futility of his struggle to reclaim his life. The only person who genuinely wants the real Bogdanov back is his daughter, who sees through the facade and yearns for her father's return.
