Death March (2013) unfolds in the grim setting of Bataan, 1942, where countless Filipino and American troops were compelled to endure a grueling journey under the scorching sun, plagued by illness, hunger, and the harsh treatment of disgruntled Japanese soldiers. Miguel is haunted by the eerie sight of deceased soldiers communicating with him. Alex's grip on reality begins to slip as he experiences vivid hallucinations. Roy, meanwhile, tends to his injured American captain, striving to keep him alive amidst the chaos. Amidst this hellish ordeal, Hatori presents an enigmatic figure, oscillating between the roles of an angelic presence, a guard, an officer, and a civilian.
