Madrid, 1940. It is not long before dawn and among the tombs of La Almudena Cemetery, two women, María and Elvira, stealthily approach a wall. It is the first time for Elvira. Maria, more experienced, grips her scissors tightly. The silence is broken by the arrival of a truck and the voices of soldiers booming in the distance. María and Elvira listen in silence, gasping for breath: Platoon! shouts the soldier in command. Aim...! Fire! They hear the thud of bodies falling.
