Darfur Now (2007) presents a narrative of hope amidst one of humanity's bleakest periods, serving as a global call to action to halt the unfolding tragedy in Darfur, Sudan. This documentary highlights the journeys and accomplishments of six distinct individuals from within Darfur and across the globe, shedding light on the Sudanese conflict and demonstrating the impact one person can have on millions. Directed and written by Ted Braun, the film delves into the Darfur conflict through the personal experiences of Don Cheadle, Hejewa Adam, Pablo Recalde, Ahmed Mohammed Abakar, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, and Adam Sterling. The film is executive produced by Jeff Skoll, Diane Weyermann, Omar Amanat, Matt Palmieri, Gary Greenebaum, and Dean Schramm, with production by Cathy Schulman, Don Cheadle, and Mark Jonathan Harris, and co-production by Lenore Zerman. The line production is handled by Jacqueline Frank.
