It (TV) (1990) unfolds in the seemingly tranquil town of Derry, Maine, which is periodically plagued by a malevolent entity known as "It." This terrifying force, which manifests as a sinister clown named Pennywise, awakens every three decades to prey on the town's children. The adults of Derry, while aware of the horrors, choose to ignore the events, finding the reality too grim to confront. A group of seven misfit children, dubbed "The Losers' Club," consisting of Bill, Ben, Beverly, Eddie, Richie, Mike, and Stan, manage to vanquish "It" during their childhood. They vow to reunite if the terror resurfaces. Three decades later, Mike Hanlon, the only member who remained in Derry, notices a disturbing pattern of child murders. Realizing that "It" has returned, he summons the remaining members of "The Losers' Club," now middle-aged, to confront the evil once more. As they reunite, they must face their deepest fears and defeat "It" to free Derry from its grip and cure the town of its dark affliction.
