Postman Blues (1997) kicks off with Ryuichi Sawaki, a dedicated postman portrayed by Shinichi Tsutsumi, being apprehended by undercover police officers. The officers observe him not only delivering a letter to a yakuza gang member but also lingering at the location for an extended period. This unusual behavior leads the cops to suspect that Sawaki might be involved in more than just mail delivery, prompting them to trail him back to his residence.
