Stronghold (1985) unfolds in a secluded farmhouse, which becomes an impromptu hideout for Jim and Charlie following a daring armed robbery. The Deleye family, residing in the farmhouse, are compelled to endure the presence of the criminals, particularly under Jim's harsh control. Charlie, who is severely injured and possesses a kinder demeanor, occupies Lisa's room but holds her infant as a captive to ensure compliance.
